NYSC DG Visits NGX, Deepens Partnership With Kudimata On Capital Market Sensitisation For Corps Members

Brigadier General O.O. Nafiu, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), on Thursday, paid a working visit to the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration with the Kudimata Youth Capital Market Initiative in sensitising Corps Members on opportunities within the capital market.

During the visit, the Director-General, held strategic discussions with the Group Managing Director, Dr. Umaru Kwairanga, focused on expanding youth participation in the capital market and promoting investment awareness as a pathway to wealth creation and financial independence.

The engagement also featured a guided tour of the NGX trading environment, where Corps Members were exposed to live market operations.

The visit was crowned with a ceremonial closing gong (bell-ringing) by the Director-General, marking the end of the trading session for the day.

The DG was accompanied by key members of his entourage, including the Information and Public Relations Director, Caroline Williams Embu; the Director, Special Duties, George Mfongang; the host, Christiana Salmwang; as well as participating Corps Members who took part in the sensitisation and tour.
