Yobe Strategic Engagement Initiative for Baba Mallam Wali, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates has held its 2026 inaugural convention.
At the event held at the Cultural Centre in Damaturu, the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali, who was represented by Barr Saleh Samanja, commended the convention organisers.
He assured them that as political activities unfold, they will engage the Initiative for Baba Mallam Wali, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates to contribute its quota for the overall development of the state.
Wali called on all APC supporters to remain united to achieve better progress for the party at all levels.
He noted that organising such an event will give them political strength to consolidate on the laudable policies and programmes of Governor Mala Buni-led administration to bring development to the people.
Earlier, the state coordinator of the Initiative, Comrade Mohammed Saleh Ahmad, said they organised the event to show their support for Wali
Ahmad noted with satisfaction that the APC administration under Governor Buni has demonstrated good governance in improving people’s well-being, underscoring the need to give the party the necessary support to achieve its objectives.
He called on all APC supporters to unite to address the party’s issues by engaging individuals and communities.
