Patrick Mahomes Shows Love For Taylor Swift As She Announces Original Song For ‘Toy Story 5’

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has shown support for Taylor Swift after the famous singer declared she has recorded an original song for the upcoming Disney and Pixar film ‘Toy Story 5’.

Swift, 36, broke the news on Instagram on Monday, June 1, disclosing that her new song, ‘I Knew It, I Knew You,’ will be released for streaming from June 5. Mahomes, 30, quickly reshared her announcement to his own Instagram Stories, while his wife, Brittany, also echoed the news on her Stories.

In a long caption following her post, Swift referred to the project as a lifelong dream. “I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5-year-old kid watching the first Toy Story movie,” she said.

The singer revealed she was given an early look at the film before writing the track. “I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening,” she said. “Sometimes you just know, right?”

Swift also noted that the song is available for pre-order exclusively on her website, with Toy Story 5 set to open in theatres on June 19.
