President Federation Cup: Nasarawa Amazons, Heartland Queens reach women’s final

Nasarawa Amazons and Heartland Queens will clash in the final of the 2026 Women’s President Federation Cup, DAILY POST reports.
Chris Danjuma’s Nasarawa Amazons defeated Sunshine Queens 2-1 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
Ayatsea Hembafan gave Nasarawa Amazons the lead in the 18th minute, while Sunshine Queens equalised in the third minute of added time.
Jumoke Alani, however, netted the winning goal for Nasarawa Amazons a minute later.
At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, Heartland Queens defeated FC Robo Queens 2-1 in their semi-final contest.
Umejiaku Oluebube opened the scoring for Heartland Queens with a header in the 18th minute.
FC Robo equalised after the break through Tosin Rafiu.
With the match heading towards extra time, Faith Samson nodded home Chizoba Johnson’s corner kick in the 87th to confirm Heartland Queens’ place in the final.
The final will hold at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Saturday, 11 July.
