Sagamu Orientation Camp Ready To Host 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Prospective Corps Members – Management

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Ogun State, on Tuesday, affirmed its readiness and successful completion of all necessary preparations for the smooth and hitch fee conduct of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course.

The three-week orientation course will commence on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Gateway International Stadium in Sagamu.

The Secretariat, in a statement posted on its Facebook page, said the Scheme remains committed to sustaining the camp’s five-star standard.

It noted that all necessary measures and arrangements have been put in place to provide incoming Prospective Corps Members with a conducive, secure and memorable orientation experience throughout the exercise.

“As part of the extensive preparation, grasses within the camp premises have been cut, flowers neatly trimmed, while all hostels and the entire camp environment have been thoroughly fumigated to promote cleanliness and healthy living conditions throughout the orientation exercise.”

Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamu, the NYSC Ogun State, Coordinator, reiterated management’s determination to continually provide Corps Members with a welcoming atmosphere that supports learning, social interaction and effective participation in all camp activities.

Ahead of the official commencement of the three-week orientation exercise on Wednesday, 10th June, 2026, the camp had been fully prepared and given a refreshing facelift, with prospective Corps Members already arriving in anticipation of the programme.
