The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Representatives hopeful for the Dunukofia, Njikoka and Anaocha (DNA) Federal Constituency in Anambra State, Barr. Prince Chukwudi Oli, popularly known as Oba Ezeafia, has celebrated his 45th birthday in grand style with a thanksgiving ceremony, committing his aspirations to God.
The ceremony was attended by family members, friends, political associates, traditional rulers, party faithful, and well-wishers.
The celebration, held at his residence in Uruoji Village, Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area, attracted dignitaries from within and outside the constituency, reflecting the wide support and goodwill enjoyed by the celebrant.
Among those in attendance were the Mayor of Anaocha Local Government Area, Hon. Romanus Ibekwe; the Mayor of Njikoka Local Government Area, Barr. Chisom Ugha; Hon. Obiadi Ndubuisi; Chief Cosmas Ogugua Agagbo (Eze-Okpaka N’Abba); Chinedu Ononiba; as well as other political stakeholders, traditional leaders, community leaders, party members, supporters, and well-wishers.
Speaking to journalists in Awka yesterday, the Director of the Ezeafia Media Team, Hon. Tony Oraeki, said Oba Ezeafia committed his aspiration to God and expressed profound gratitude to God for the gift of life, good health, divine protection, and the numerous blessings he has enjoyed over the past 45 years.
According to Oraeki, “Oba Ezeafia offered heartfelt praises and thanksgiving to God while expressing sincere appreciation to everyone who honoured his invitation and joined him in celebrating this significant milestone.
He also prayed for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon all those who have supported him over the years.
The celebration featured colourful masquerade performances, traditional cultural dance displays, and captivating Ogene music, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Igbo people. The cultural presentations added excitement and colour to the event, keeping guests entertained throughout the celebration.
The occasion also witnessed the presentation of gifts by family members, friends, political associates, supporters, and well-wishers, who conveyed goodwill messages and offered prayers for the celebrant’s continued good health, wisdom, strength, greater accomplishments, and success in his future endeavours.
The thanksgiving celebration concluded with a grand reception, where guests were treated to a variety of food and refreshments in a warm and convivial atmosphere.
The reception provided an opportunity for attendees to interact freely, celebrate with the APGA House of Representatives hopeful, and commemorate the occasion in an atmosphere of unity, friendship, cultural pride, and goodwill.
