Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has sparked fresh conversations online after sharing a cryptic message advising women to think twice before pursuing another woman’s husband.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Rita warned that not every man who appears successful or comfortable is worth fighting over. According to her, some women are attracted by wealth and luxury without understanding the realities behind what they see.

“Before you go about snatching someone else’s husband, please check the quality of what you’re snatching first!” she wrote.

The actress added that some husbands may appear sweet in public but are difficult to live with behind closed doors.

“Some husbands are sweet, some are simply meant to be endured and now you dey house dey endure. See wetin you do yourself chaaaaaiiiiii.”

She also suggested that some women mistake another family’s achievements for the man’s personal success, only to become disappointed later.

“She saw the exotic mansion not realizing it was built with the sweat, labour, and years of another woman’s sacrifice. She thought the mansion was the man’s magic. She carried the man and left the magic behind.”

Rita further warned that such decisions often end in regret, adding, “Now the mansion is nowhere to be found. The expectations have crashed. The fantasy has expired. There is no refund policy. No exchange. No return to sender.”

Although she did not mention anyone by name, the post quickly went viral, with many social media users speculating that it was aimed at a popular celebrity relationship, while others insisted it was simply a general piece of advice.
