Nigerian content creator and TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has shown his support for his wife, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, after she faced criticism and mockery over her decision to cut her hair.
Peller surprised Jarvis by copying her new hairstyle, explaining that he decided to shave his hair after seeing the reactions that followed her new look.
In a video shared on social media, the popular Nigerian streamer revealed that he wanted to make the gesture special for his wife and show her that he supported her despite the negative comments from some Nigerians.
“So guys, I want to barb my hair to surprise my wife because she also barb her hair. Everybody is saying things, they are talking a lot about her. All the Nigerians, una dey whine my baby,” Peller said.
The content creator appeared excited as his barber worked on his hair, repeatedly expressing confidence that the new hairstyle would suit him.
After the haircut was completed, Peller admired his appearance and proudly declared that he still looked good.
“Walahi, I still fine, take am, barb am,” he said.
Peller subsequently went to meet Jarvis to unveil his new hairstyle. However, instead of immediately reacting to his appearance, Jarvis initially refused to acknowledge him.
The TikTok star questioned her reaction, prompting Jarvis to remind him that he had allegedly failed to check up on her.
“Report yourself, you did not check up on me,” Jarvis told him.
Peller continued persuading his wife to look at him before she eventually turned her attention to his new hairstyle.
Jarvis appeared surprised when she saw that Peller had copied her haircut and was briefly left without words.
