Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have warned that Britain would become a “definite and legitimate target” if it supported the United States in any conflict with Tehran.
According to Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB, an IRGC spokesperson said any country supporting the US in a war against Iran, including Britain and Gulf states, would be considered a legitimate target.
The spokesperson added that US bombers had recently used British airfields.
The IRGC also said the memorandum of understanding stipulates that navigation through the Strait of Hormuz should take place under arrangements announced by Iran.
