APC Chieftain Alabi Bemoans Poor Publicity Of Tinubu’s Strides

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Femi Alabi has lamented that inadequate public awareness of federal government initiatives, alongside persistent misinformation were undermining the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Alabi stated this in his keynote address at the inauguration of state coordinators for the Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Canvassers—a wing of the Concerned National APC Stakeholders Forum, over the weekend in Abuja.
The APC chieftain who spoke
on the theme, “Engendering Progressive Governance: The Role of Citizens,” stressed that effective leadership must translate policies into tangible improvements in citizens’ lives.
He however, stated that communication gaps and socio-economic headwinds risk obscuring President Tinubu administration’s achievements.
“Progressive governance encompasses good governance and accountability, economic growth, infrastructure development, security, and the rule of law.
“However, misinformation, political intolerance, youth unemployment, weak civic participation, and inadequate public awareness of government programmes are capable of undermining these efforts,” Alabi said.
He asked Nigerians to move past passive observation and actively engage in national development, charging the newly inaugurated grassroot canvassers to serve as an ethical bridge between the government and the electorate.
