Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted singer Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, better known as Mayorkun, a brand-new Tesla Cybertruck.
Davido revealed the grand gesture in a post shared on his Instagram story, displaying a photo of the luxury electric vehicle alongside a message expressed to his former signee, directing his associate to deliver the vehicle.
While the music star did not disclose the purchase price, the futuristic electric vehicle is estimated to cost between N200 million and N340 million in Nigeria after accounting for import duties and shipping.
Mayorkun was signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in 2016 before launching his independent career in 2021, with both artistes maintaining a close relationship over the years.
