British musician Harry Styles has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest continuous run of concerts by a solo artist at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The 32-year-old singer concluded his 12-date, sold-out Together, Together tour residency on Saturday night, breaking the previous stadium record of 10 nights set by Coldplay. Styles originally scheduled six performances at the venue but expanded the lineup to 12 nights following unprecedented public demand for tickets.
An official adjudicator from Guinness World Records presented Styles with an achievement certificate on stage during the final concert, which drew an estimated audience of 80,000 fans.
During his closing remarks, the artist paused to credit his former One Direction bandmates Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and the late Liam Payne, stating that his current career milestones would not have been possible without their shared history. The pop group originally formed in 2010 before entering an indefinite hiatus in 2016.
Following the conclusion of his London performances, Styles is scheduled to continue his international tour in São Paulo, Brazil, before commencing a 30-show concert residency at Madison Square Garden in New York.
