“It’s The Duty Of A Woman To Provide For A Man'”- GehGeh Says

- GehGeh, a Nigerian financial commentator, sparked debate with his views on gender roles in relationships.
- He questioned the traditional belief that men should be the sole providers for women.
- GehGeh suggested that society has misunderstood these roles and needs to rethink them.
Popular Nigerian financial commentator and social media personality GehGeh has stirred conversations online after sharing a controversial opinion about gender roles in relationships.
Speaking during a recent discussion, GehGeh challenged the long-standing belief that men are solely responsible for providing for women. According to him, society has gotten the idea backwards.
He argued that women should be the primary providers in relationships, drawing inspiration from the animal kingdom to support his viewpoint.
In his words:
“Back in the day, they said it’s a man who’s supposed to provide for a woman, but that’s all wrong. It’s the duty of a woman to provide for a man, because if you look at the animal kingdom, a lioness does the hunting for the lion.”
The statement has since generated mixed reactions across social media, with many users debating whether GehGeh’s comparison between human relationships and the behavior of wild animals is valid.
While some agreed with his perspective and praised him for challenging traditional gender expectations, others argued that human relationships should not be measured by the dynamics of the animal kingdom.
