Journalist Kemi Olunloyo has claimed that music promoter Sam Larry is in critical condition following a reported road accident in Lagos.
The update comes after reports emerged that Sam Larry was involved in a serious crash, which allegedly claimed the life of one of his bodyguards.
In a video shared on her social media platforms, Olunloyo said she received information from what she described as a trusted source, alleging that Sam Larry sustained severe injuries, including serious head and neck trauma. She also claimed doctors were considering amputating both of his legs in an effort to save his life.
Providing a further update on Sunday morning, Olunloyo alleged that Sam Larry remained on life support and had not regained consciousness.
“As of this morning 6am your time, he has severe head injuries and still hasn’t recovered. If he makes it, it will be a miracle. On life support,” she wrote.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from Sam Larry’s family, management or medical team confirming his condition, and the claims made by Olunloyo have not been independently verified.
