Fraudulent Recruitment Advertisement: It Did Not Originate From Us, Says NAICOM

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) says its attention has been drawn to a purported recruitment advertisement allegedly issued by the Commission, which is currently being circulated by certain dubious individuals through various online platforms.

The Commission stated that the advertisement is false, misleading, and does not originate from NAICOM.

According to a statement signed by the Commission Management, it states, “The Commission has not authorised any recruitment exercise through the referenced platform or via any unofficial channels.

The Commission called on Nigerians to. Disregard the said advertisement in its entirety, refrain from submitting personal information or making any form of payment in response to such fraudulent notices.

The Commission also advised that Nigerians should rely solely on official communication channels of NAICOM, including its verified website and recognised government platforms, for authentic information on recruitment and other activities.

NAICOM reiterated that it does not engage in recruitment through unofficial or unverified online links and will always publicise legitimate employment opportunities through reputable and authorised channels.

The Commission also warned that individuals or groups involved in the dissemination of such fraudulent information are engaging in unlawful activities and may be subject to legal consequences.

NAICOM advised the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious recruitment claims to the appropriate authorities.
