“Marriage Isn’t My Dream” — Lady Says She’d Rather Enjoy Life Than Be Called ‘Mummy’
A young woman has sparked widespread reactions on social media after sharing her unconventional views on marriage and personal aspirations.
In a video circulating online, she questioned why marriage is considered the ultimate life goal for many women, arguing that there is much more to life than becoming someone’s wife.
According to her, women should also aspire to explore the world, pursue happiness, and achieve financial independence instead of making marriage their primary ambition.
She went on to reveal that getting married is not one of her personal dreams, adding humorously that she does not even want to be called “mummy.”
“God forbid anybody calls me mummy. I’m just a girl,” she joked.
Her comments have since generated mixed reactions online. While some people agreed that women should be free to define success on their own terms, others maintained that marriage and family remain important life goals for many.
