NCAA gives details of Enugu Air flight crash at Edo Airport

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has released information about the incident involving an Enugu Air aircraft at Benin Airport in Edo State on Thursday.
The NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, verified exclusively that the Enugu Air aircraft was engaged in a runway excursion at Benin Airport.
According to Achimugu, the airplane went off the runway after landing; however, all passengers and crew members were unhurt.
“They had a runway trip. Yes, there was a slide off the runway following landing. Everyone is safe. There were no injuries to the passengers. All passengers emerged. “Passengers and crew are safe,” he stated.
Similarly, a Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) officer, who chose anonymity, said that there was a runway excursion.
The cause of the runway excursion was not immediately known at the time of publishing this report.
