Ogun NYSC Staff Celebrate Nasamu’s New Appointment, Bid Her Farewell

Staff of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ogun State, on Wednesday, honoured the immediate past State Coordinator, Mrs Olayinkan Diana Nasamu, with a colourful send-off following her appointment as the Acting Director of the NYSC South-South Area Office II.

The well-attended event, held in Abeokuta, featured tributes, goodwill messages and presentation of gifts as colleagues celebrated Mrs Nasamu’s exemplary leadership, professionalism and commitment to the growth of the Scheme during her tenure in Ogun State.

Speaking on behalf of the staff, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Miss Tolulope Osin, described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Mrs Nasamu’s dedication, integrity and outstanding service to the NYSC.

She said the outgoing State Coordinator left remarkable footprints in Ogun through initiatives that enhanced staff welfare, improved operational efficiency and fostered harmonious relationships among staff and Corps Members.

Osin expressed confidence that Mrs Nasamu would bring the same passion, competence and transformational leadership to her new assignment as Acting Director of the NYSC South-South Area Office II.

Responding, Mrs Nasamu expressed appreciation to the management and staff of the Ogun State Secretariat for their unwavering cooperation and support throughout her tenure.

She described her years of service in Ogun State as memorable and rewarding, urging staff to remain committed to the core values of the NYSC and continue to uphold excellence, professionalism and dedication in service delivery.

The ceremony featured cultural performances, presentation of gifts and group photographs, with staff members celebrating her elevation and wishing her a successful tenure in her new national assignment.
