The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Gyang Dung Gyang, has felicitated with former Minister of State for Transport, Musa Azi, on his birthday.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the Gyang Dung Gyang Media Directorate, the PDP candidate described Azi as a respected elder statesman whose experience and years of public service had contributed to the development of Plateau State and Nigeria. Gyang commended the former minister for his service and described him as a father figure whose counsel and experience remained valuable to younger leaders.

He also acknowledged Azi’s support for his political movement, saying his guidance had helped strengthen the ideals of the “Hope-In-Time” movement and its vision of responsive and people-centred leadership. “Today, we celebrate a true giant of leadership and a pillar of wisdom. Your unwavering support for our mandate is a blessing we carry with immense pride and gratitude,” Gyang said.

The PDP candidate said the experience and leadership of elder statesmen remained important to efforts to promote effective and accountable governance. He prayed for Azi’s continued good health, peace and wisdom, expressing hope that the former minister would continue to contribute to the development of Plateau State and Nigeria. Gyang wished Azi a happy birthday and thanked him for his commitment to leadership, mentorship and public service.
