PenCom DG Commended Over Pension Reforms, Improved Retirees’ Welfare

A retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Habila Nicholas, has commended the Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), Mrs. Omolola Oloworaran, for her commitment to improving the welfare of pensioners since assuming office.
In a press statement made available to LEADERSHIP in Jalingo, ACP Nicholas praised the PenCom boss for her leadership and efforts towards ensuring prompt pension payments and enhancing the welfare of retirees, particularly retired police personnel.
He said the reforms being implemented under Oloworaran’s leadership had positively impacted pensioners across the country, irrespective of their ranks, adding that, her administration had inspired confidence among retirees.
According to him, reports of improvements in pension administration and the timely payment of pensions demonstrate the commission’s resolve to address the concerns of retired public servants.
The retired senior police officer, urged the PenCom director-general to sustain the reforms, noting that many pensioners have continued to benefit from the commission’s initiatives.
ACP Nichola, also prayed for divine wisdom, strength and good health for Oloworaran as she continues to lead the commission.
He described her administration as a compassionate and dedicated public servant, whose efforts deserve recognition.
ACP Nicholas encouraged the commission to remain focused on policies that would further improve the welfare of Nigerian pensioners.
