I hereby tender my sincere and unreserved apology to Mr. Ayodele Aminu, Strategic Effects Media, New Telegraph Newspaper, Fidelity Bank Plc, Union Bank Plc, Polaris Bank Plc, Unity Bank Plc, Providus Bank Limited, Sterling Bank Plc, Union Bank of Nigeria, Access Bank Plc, the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS), and all other individuals and organisations mentioned or referenced in my publication titled “How Ayodele Aminu’s Strategic Effects Media Is Exploiting Journalists.”
I acknowledge that the said publication contained serious allegations which were capable of damaging the reputation and integrity of Mr. Ayodele Aminu, Strategic Effects Media, and the organisations listed. I unequivocally state that the publication is entirely false, misleading, and without factual basis.
Upon reflection, I recognise that the publication and its subsequent circulation caused significant distress, reputational harm, and unnecessary controversy to the affected parties. I deeply regret my actions.
I hereby retract the publication in its entirety and withdraw all allegations, insinuations, and conclusions contained therein. I also regret publishing the article on my platform and distributing it to other publishers, media platforms, and WhatsApp groups, which contributed to its wider dissemination.
I sincerely apologise to Mr. Ayodele Aminu, Strategic Effects Media, New Telegraph Newspaper, the affected financial institutions, and all individuals or entities adversely impacted by the publication.
I confirm that I have taken steps to remove the publication from all platforms under my control. I respectfully appeal to all publishers, website administrators, bloggers, and recipients who may have received or shared the article to kindly delete, unpublish, or discontinue its circulation.
This apology and retraction are made in good faith as a genuine expression of my remorse for the harm caused. I undertake never to publish any such false or defamatory content again, having now fully understood the legal and ethical implications, including the risk of liability for libel and cyberbullying.
Going forward, I am committed to exercising the highest standards of responsibility, accuracy, and professionalism in all my publications and communications.
