Seriously Ill Man At Komfo Anokye Hospital Break Down In Tears As Family Members Fail To Show Up Despite Being Admitted For Weeks

A seriously ill man admitted to the D4 Ward at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi has been left without any relatives by his side for several days, prompting a kind-hearted Ghanaian to share a video of his plight online in a bid to locate his family.

According to the patient, former Black Stars and Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffour is a member of his family, and he is making a direct appeal for the football legend to be contacted and informed of his condition.

The man broke down in tears during the video, which has since circulated widely on social media.

The patient, whose identity has not been publicly confirmed, is seen in the footage with both arms heavily bandaged, lying in a hospital bed at the Kumasi-based teaching hospital. The nature of his illness or injuries has not been disclosed.

The video was shared by a third party who came across the man’s situation and sought to use social media to help him reach his family and receive the support he urgently needs.

Samuel Osei Kuffour, one of Ghana’s most celebrated footballers who won multiple UEFA Champions League titles with Bayern Munich, had not publicly responded to the appeal at the time of publication.

Members of the public with information that could help reunite the patient with his family or reach Samuel Osei Kuffour are urged to make contact through available channels.
