TCN Gives Notice Of Power Outage In Kaduna Community For Installation Of Kudenda-Mando Transmission Line

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that there is an ongoing planned outage on the Kudenda–Mando 132kV Transmission Line from 9:00am to 4:00pm daily, from today, Thursday, July 23 to Sunday, July 26, 2026.

The outage is necessary to enable contractors to safely integrate the newly constructed Mando–Kudenda 132kV Transmission Line into the existing transmission network.

Consequently, Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO) will be unable to offtake electricity to its customers served through the Mother Cat and Airport feeders only, during the outage period.

TCN apologises for the inconvenience this will cause affected electricity consumers during the period.
