The pair failed to complete a single pass to each other in two of Ghana’s four matches, with their only successful exchanges coming against Panama and Colombia.
In total, Ayew and Semenyo combined for just five passes during the entire World Cup, despite both featuring in the starting lineup in every game.
Ghana advanced beyond the group stage before being eliminated by Colombia in the Round of 32.
The Black Stars defeated Panama, drew with England, and lost to Croatia and Colombia during their World Cup campaign.
