Two Young Men Dive Into Flooded Alajo Gutter to Show Off Swimming Skills, Leaving Onlookers Stunned

Two young men have drawn a mixture of shock and disbelief from onlookers after diving into the flooded Alajo gutter and swimming through the floodwaters to demonstrate their swimming abilities, in footage that has since circulated widely on social media.

The video shows the two individuals in the middle of a completely flooded street in Alajo, with one swimming and one wading through brown floodwater while residents watch from rooftops and the surrounding area.

While the act has been treated with a degree of amusement online, public health authorities have consistently warned that contact with floodwater in urban areas carries serious health risks, as the water typically contains sewage, chemical waste, disease-causing bacteria, and other hazardous contaminants from overwhelmed drainage systems.

The identities of the two young men have not been confirmed, and no injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
