World Cup 2026: Rio Ferdinand singles out two France players after Morocco win

Former England defender, Rio Ferdinand, has singled out two France players after the Les Bleus defeated Morocco 2-0 in the World Cup quarter-final encounter.
Ferdinand also hailed France after they defeated Morocco, insisting that the 2018 World Cup winners overcame their hardest test.
Two goals from Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele ensured France defeated the North Africans.
In a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Ferdinand was pleased with Mbappe and Dembele’s display.
“Mbappe + Dembele smell blood man!!!! This team is a joke ffs. Wow – this was their hardest test and comfy,” Ferdinand wrote.
France will now face the winner between Spain and Belgium in the World Cup semi-final stage in the coming days.
