Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari, Director-General of the APC 2027 Presidential Campaign, has said Nigerians should not believe anyone promising to restore the fuel subsidy, describing such claims as deceptive.
Yari made the statement while speaking on the ongoing debate over fuel subsidy removal and the possibility of reversing the policy ahead of the 2027 elections.
“Anybody who is deceiving Nigerians by saying that he is going to bring back the subsidy is lying to himself and lying to Nigerians,” Yari said.
