Armed Israeli settlers attacked the Armenian Church in Jerusalem’s Old City on Sunday evening, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.
In a statement, the governorate said a group of settlers threw stones at the church and collectively spat at its entrance.
According to Palestinian figures, around 750,000 Israeli settlers live in 156 settlements and 360 settlement outposts across the occupied West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem. The figures say settlers have carried out repeated attacks aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians.
