Nicola Peltz Beckham is stepping further into the spotlight as her film career continues to evolve beyond acting.
Brooklyn Beckham‘s wife has now earned recognition at the Venice Film Festival alongside major names in cinema. Among other stars, she will share the occasion with Oscar winner Faye Dunaway, whose celebrated career is also getting its flowers.
Nicola Peltz Beckham is adding another honor to her résumé as she continues expanding her work behind the camera.
The actress, who is married to Brooklyn Beckham, will receive the Rising Star Award at the 25th Kinéo Awards in Venice, Italy, on September 5. The ceremony will be held at Casa Cinema Giovani during the Venice Film Festival, though the awards are not officially affiliated with the festival.
Peltz Beckham is being recognized for her work as an actress, producer, and filmmaker. She made her feature directorial debut with “Lola,” which she also wrote and starred in.
Her acting credits stretch back nearly two decades and include “The Last Airbender,” “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” “Bates Motel,” “Holidate,” “Welcome to Chippendales,” and “The Beauty.”
Faye Dunaway Also Among Honorees
4Peltz Beckham will be in distinguished company, as Hollywood icon Faye Dunaway is also among this year’s Kinéo Awards honorees. The 85-year-old actress will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, adding another accolade to a career spanning more than six decades.
Dunaway scored her first Academy Award nomination for 1967’s “Bonnie and Clyde,” in which she starred opposite Warren Beatty. A second nomination followed for her performance in “Chinatown.” She ultimately took home the Best Actress Oscar for 1976’s “Network,” in which she played ambitious television executive Diana Christensen.
Dunaway’s extensive résumé also includes “The Thomas Crown Affair,” “The Towering Inferno,” “Three Days of the Condor,” and “Mommie Dearest.” The honor also reunites Dunaway and Peltz Beckham professionally. Both appear in the upcoming independent film “Prima,” the feature directorial debut of brothers Alessandro and Luca Morelli.

4Peltz Beckham and Dunaway won’t be the only familiar faces getting their flowers as Kinéo celebrates a major milestone, however. The awards have expanded their 25th-anniversary lineup across film, television, choreography, and international entertainment.
Luca Tommassini will pick up Best Choreography for “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” where he oversaw Lady Gaga’s routine. His career has previously put him alongside music heavyweights including Madonna, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Kylie Minogue.
“Sense8” and “Narcos” star Miguel Ángel Silvestre is also among the recipients, earning recognition for his work in Salvador Calvo’s “La Fiera.” Other prizes will recognize Italian films, performers, directors, and television productions as Kinéo marks 25 years since its 2002 launch.

Peltz Beckham’s latest career news comes days after Brooklyn fiercely defended her against a social media user’s remark about her appearance.
The exchange unfolded beneath an Instagram Reel Brooklyn posted on August 26 showing him making cottage pie. Although his wife wasn’t featured in the clip, a commenter claimed she looked “sickly” and told him to “feed her.”
Brooklyn quickly shut down the remark. “Don’t ever talk about my wife,” he replied, before calling Peltz Beckham “absolutely beautiful.” He added that people should “never comment on a woman’s body” and branded the behavior “disgraceful.”

4The scrutiny surrounding Peltz Beckham’s appearance first intensified earlier this year, but her slimmer frame reportedly came with the demands of playing a professional ballet dancer in “Prima.”
As The Blast reported, the actress supposedly followed an “intense workout regimen” while preparing for the film. Her training was part of the physical transformation required to convincingly step into the world of classical ballet.
More details about her character also reveal the demands behind the role. According to the film’s official description, Margo is a classical dancer whose life is disrupted when modern changes threaten the traditions of her company.
That upheaval forces her to confront the sacrifices demanded by total devotion to her craft. Peltz Beckham is joined in the cast by Mira Sorvino and Jack Huston.
