Tension has erupted in Kumawu, Ashanti Region, after a suspected cannabis seller reportedly dashed into a church in an attempt to evade arrest by the Ghana Police Service, disrupting an ongoing service and briefly throwing the community into confusion.
According to accounts of the incident, police officers pursued the suspect into the church premises, forcing worshippers to scatter as the chase unfolded mid-service.
