Nigerian music star Shallipopi has renewed his criticism of music executive Dapper Damm as their ongoing dispute over alleged unpaid earnings continues to attract attention online.
The singer took to X to challenge Dapper to meet him face-to-face and address the allegations surrounding their disagreement. Shallipopi made it clear that he does not want the matter to lose momentum or be pushed aside without a proper resolution.
In one of his posts, the singer wrote:
“Once it’s a mistake. Two times is a coincidence. Three times its a pattern. Dapper, come outside right now.”
In a separate post, Shallipopi further stressed his determination to see the matter addressed, saying:
“I would rather d!e than allow this case to d!e down. Come out, let’s talk face to face.”
His latest remarks followed Dapper Damm’s recent response to allegations raised by Shallipopi, Seyi Vibez and other former artistes associated with him.
Shallipopi has also claimed that he submitted evidence concerning the dispute to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), calling for the allegations to be properly examined by the relevant authorities.
Rather than allowing the disagreement to remain a social media controversy, the singer said he wants the claims investigated and resolved through the appropriate channels.
He further alleged that his concerns were not isolated, claiming that close to 10 artistes had raised similar complaints against the music executive.
According to Shallipopi, he has also been unable to get Dapper to engage with him on the matter since 2024, suggesting that efforts to settle the dispute privately have not produced the expected outcome.
Meanwhile, Dapper Damm recently addressed the accusations publicly, maintaining that relevant records exist and have already been made available to the appropriate authorities.
He wrote:
“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth.”
The music executive also rejected claims that former artistes were forced out of his label, accusing some of them of promoting what he described as false narratives.
With both sides maintaining their positions, attention remains on the next steps as the allegations continue to unfold.
