The actress made the emotional appeal during an interview with Biola Adebayo, which was shared on social media.
Speaking about her condition and the difficulties she has faced during treatment, Ogundimu revealed that she has been battling the illness since 2024.
She said, “I have been battling cervical cancer since 2024, The treatment I received also have side effects such as my buttock hurting me when I go to urinate.”
The actress, who became emotional during the interview, added, “I just want to be okay. I am exhausted. I want a peaceful life.”
Ogundimu also disclosed that she is struggling to raise money for further treatment and pleaded with Nigerians to support her.
She said, “I plead with Nigerians to have mercy on me”.
She further appealed, “I still need to be treated, pls have mercy on me. I don’t know who to call and where to get money from again. Please just help me.”
Her emotional appeal has sparked sympathy online, with many Nigerians praying for her recovery and calling for support for the actress.
