Family House Nearly Catches Fire As Faulty Phone Charger Explodes Like Bomb After Being Plugged Into Socket

A video available to us captures the moment a home narrowly escaped a major fire outbreak early this morning after a faulty phone charger reportedly exploded and ignited flames.

The footage, timestamped 04:10am, shows a phone left charging unattended after the owner had stepped away from the area.

Moments later, the charger and phone are seen bursting into flames, with the explosion triggering a fire near the wall socket.

Fortunately, the incident did not escalate into a larger fire that could have engulfed the household, though the footage captures just how quickly the situation could have turned dangerous.

The incident has shed light on the fire risks associated with leaving phones and chargers plugged in unattended, particularly overnight, with electrical experts frequently advising against charging devices unsupervised or using damaged or substandard charging equipment.
