Former Secretary to the Osun State Government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti and the spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Olawale Rasheed, have won their respective polling units for the Accord Party in the ongoing gubernatorial election.
Results announced by INEC officials on Saturday showed Accord defeating the APC in both chieftains’ polling units.

In Unit 4, Gidigbo 2, where the former SSG under Aregbesola’s administration voted, Accord polled 168 votes to beat APC, which scored 89 votes.
In Unit 5, Gidigbo 2, the polling unit of the governor’s spokesperson, Accord also secured 120 votes against APC’s 56 votes.
The party extended its lead in Unit 6, Gidigbo 2, with 158 votes to APC’s 62 votes, and in Unit 13, Gidigbo 2, with 162 votes to APC’s 31 votes for APC.
Across the four units, Accord garnered a total of 608 votes while APC got 238 votes.
The results were received with jubilation by Accord agents and supporters.
Voting and collation are ongoing across the 30 Local Government Areas of Osun State.
