Nollywood actress and filmmaker Peggy Ovire has opened up about her recent health struggles after completing what she described as one of the most exhausting productions of her career.
Taking to social media, the actress revealed that she has been battling a fever and a severe cold while juggling the demands of production.
Peggy admitted that the experience left her completely drained, noting that she had just wrapped up what she considered the most demanding production she had ever handled.
Amid the stressful period, one of her colleagues continued to check in on her, regularly asking how the production was progressing. The colleague also went a step further by planning a surprise for Peggy.
Expressing her appreciation for the thoughtful gesture, the actress said she was deeply touched by the kindness shown to her.
Peggy revealed that she could hardly put into words how much the surprise meant to her, especially at a time when she was physically exhausted and dealing with illness.
The actress’ post highlighted the importance of having supportive people around, particularly during challenging moments.

“I just wrapped the most draining production I have ever produced. I’ve been battling a fever and a terrible cold, completely worn out.
Through it all, baby girl kept checking on me. She asked how production was going, when we would wrap, and even threw in random questions like, “What’s my favourite colour?” I answered her without thinking twice, completely unaware that she was quietly planning something special.
I told her I wasn’t feeling well and that, honestly, all I wanted was to sleep and recover.
Then tonight, just when I thought the day was finally over, she gave me these beautiful gifts. It isn’t even my birthday.
