Controversial activist Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to actress Iyabo Ojo’s recent cryptic social media posts, which he believes were prompted by his planned exposé.
The activist had earlier called on his followers, popularly known as Ratels, to get their “buckets” ready, hinting that he was preparing to make revelations about certain individuals.
Not long after his warning, Iyabo Ojo took to social media with a cryptic message suggesting that some people were working against her. She later shared an AI-generated video showing herself crushing buckets.
Reacting in a video shared on his Instagram page on Friday, August 1, 2026, VDM questioned why the actress appeared to respond when he had not mentioned her by name.
He described her reaction as questionable and suggested that her actions looked like an attempt to get ahead of whatever information he planned to reveal.
VDM also mocked Ojo’s bucket-crushing video, joking that he was glad she did not destroy a green bucket, which he subsequently displayed in his own video.
Taking the sarcasm further, he said that even if the actress managed to destroy all the available buckets, he could simply get a tank and, if necessary, travel to Ghana to purchase more for those who would need them.
The activist maintained that he had not yet directly addressed Ojo, insisting that her reaction only strengthened his suspicion that she was concerned about what he might reveal.
According to VDM, the actress’ apparent anxiety suggested that she was already attempting to manage the situation before he had even made his claims public.
His latest comments come amid his ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
As part of the investigation, VDM has spoken with several individuals who were close to the late singer. He had also previously brought Iyabo Ojo into the controversy, making allegations about her alleged involvement in matters surrounding the singer’s death.
