I rejected money, G-Wawgon – Isaac Fayose on Adeleke, Davido meeting with Wike, Tinubu

Nigerian businessman and social commentator, Prince Isaac Fayose, has lamented the decision of opposition politicians who he supported to realign with leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Fayose’s remarks followed viral video of Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido and his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke meeting with President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Nyesom Wike.

DAILY POST reports that Governor Adeleke, who won the recently concluded Osun State governorship election, was in Aso Rock Villa on Thursday on a thank you visit to Tinubu.

Another viral video also showed the moment Adeleke and Davido were celebrating at the Abuja residence of Wike.

Reacting, Fayose lamented that Adeleke, whom he and other Nigerians fought for, is now romancing with leaders of the APC.

“Look at Osun, I was in Australia and Adeleke called me, I offered my support. Six days later, the governor is in Abuja, presenting to the president his certificate of return.

“Davido that we were hailing during the election is now smiling with Wike. Meanwhile, they offered me money, and I declined. They offered me a G-Wagon, but I still declined.

“Now, even the people I’m fighting for, on election day, they will still sell their votes”, Fayose lamented.

Fayose also lamented that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate he supported during the Ekiti State governorship election, Dr Wole Oluyede has now aligned with the ruling party.
