Juma Jux Breaks Silence on Claims He Fathered Child With Another Woman, Threatens Legal Action

- Juma Jux has denied reports claiming that he fathered a child with another woman, saying the woman involved previously denied ever meeting him or having a romantic relationship with him.
- The singer said the matter is now being handled by legal authorities and warned against spreading unverified claims involving his name, family or businesses.
Tanzanian singer and husband of Priscilla Ojo, Juma Jux, has addressed reports claiming that he fathered a child with another woman, describing the allegation as false and warning that legal action will be taken against those spreading the claim.
Reports circulating online had alleged that the singer secretly welcomed a child with another woman. However, Juma has now denied the claim, saying the allegation has gone too far and is beginning to affect his reputation, family and businesses.
According to Juma, he initially chose not to respond because he did not want to give attention to a report he considered baseless. He explained that he eventually decided to address it after the claim resurfaced and continued to spread online.
The singer also revealed that he personally contacted the woman at the centre of the allegation after the issue first surfaced. He said she denied ever meeting him physically or having a romantic relationship with him and even asked him not to give the matter any attention.
In a public statement originally written in Swahili and translated into English, Juma explained that he had been following the situation calmly but was forced to speak because it was affecting “my name, my family, my businesses, and the image I have built over many years with sweat and hard work”.
He further stated that the woman involved had confirmed “both in words and through her own voice” that she had “never met me physically nor had a romantic relationship with me”. Juma added that the matter had now been handed over to the legal authorities following the renewed claims.
Juma also appealed to media outlets and members of the public to verify information before sharing it. He warned that anyone who links his name, family or businesses to what he described as false claims would be held accountable under the law.
“I have built my name, my brand, and my businesses over many years through hard work, discipline, and strong commitment,” he said in the translated statement.
He added: “Anyone who chooses to involve my name, my family, or my businesses in false claims must be prepared to be held accountable under the law.”
Juma concluded: “On my part, I have chosen calm, the truth, and the right legal steps.”
