Man Shocked After Friend Using Infinix Has Enough Money to Buy His iPhone 10 Times

A Nigerian man has shared his surprise after discovering that his friend, who uses an Infinix phone, had enough money in his bank account to buy his iPhone 14 Pro Max more than 10 times.

In a video shared on X, formerly Twitter, the man said he had initially assumed that his friend was not financially successful because of the type of phone he used.

However, his perception changed after his friend showed him his account balance.

According to him, his friend runs a business that involves importing goods from China and other countries for sale in Nigeria.

He said, “My friend just showed me his account balance. This boy is using Infinix, while I’m using a 14 Pro Max. Do you know that the money in his account can buy my phone times ten?”

The man added that he asked his friend why he was still using an Infinix phone despite having so much money.

He said his friend simply replied that it was not yet time for him to start using an iPhone.

The revelation reportedly left him embarrassed because he realised that his expensive phone did not mean he was wealthier than his friend.

He also advised people who use expensive phones to look down on others, saying the price of someone’s phone does not determine their financial status.

“Those of you that use iPhone to oppress people, thinking you have arrived or something, you’re just using an expensive phone. You don’t have money. You are not rich. So, go find money, go find money,” he said.

The story has sparked reactions online, with many agreeing that a person’s phone, clothes or other possessions do not always show how much money they have.
