“My Mom Called Lola ‘Our Wife’” – Peter Okoye Reveals What His Wife Went Through

  • Peter Okoye has alleged that his late mother had accepted Lola before their marriage and even referred to her as “our wife”, contradicting claims that she never liked his wife.
  • He also said his mother wanted Paul and Jude to apologise to him over how Lola was treated, but claimed the apology never came before their mother died.

P-Square singer Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, has continued to reveal details of the family tensions surrounding his wife, Lola, alleging that his late mother had accepted her long before their marriage despite claims that she never liked her.

Peter said he is surprised whenever his brothers claim that their mother did not like Lola, insisting that they appear to have forgotten what happened during the period leading to his marriage.

“When I hear ‘our mom never liked Lola’, I say my brothers have forgotten so soon… the same routine for over two months + during her moment in that hospital.. Before I got married to her, my mom was already addressing Lola as ‘our wife’…”

He further claimed that his mother was deeply concerned about the treatment he and Lola received from some members of the family and repeatedly asked his brothers to apologise.

“My mom felt my pain and told me my brothers will apologize to me… After a few weeks, Henry apologized, Tony did, but ones that I live with, Paul and Jude never did. Waited for 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, till our mom d!ed. That apology was never made and our mom told them to do it…”

The latest revelation comes amid an escalating public dispute between Peter, his twin brother Paul Okoye and their elder brother Jude Okoye.

Peter’s claims have continued to generate debate online, with social media users taking different positions on the family’s long-running feud.
