“My party, AAC, is fully behind Nnamdi Kanu” – Doris Ogala declares, calls for his immediate release

Nollywood actress and AAC Abia state governorship candidate Doris Ogala has declared her support for detained Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, leader Nnamdi Kanu, describing him as a “messiah” and “prophet” whose predictions have come to pass.
Speaking during a recent interview, Doris said she fully supports Kanu and believes that everything he previously warned about is now happening, insisting that his message should not be ignored.
“I support what Nnamdi Kanu is doing 100% because he’s like a messiah, he’s like a prophet that we didn’t see coming. Everything he has prophecied has come to pass. Everything he said is what is happening today,” she said.
The actress further said that if she were governor, one of the first things she would do would be to seek Kanu’s pardon and push for his release.
She also referenced presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore and his public support for Kanu, claiming that the AAC presidential candidate would release him if he becomes president.
Doris maintained that her party, the African Action Congress, AAC, does not support what is being done to Kanu, adding that she considers him not only the IPOB leader but also her brother.
“Because we do not, my party, AAC, do not support what is being done to Nnamdi Kanu. We are fully behind Nnamdi Kanu. I support him. Not only he is the leader of IPOB, but he is also my brother, and I support him 100%,” she added.
Her remarks have sparked debate among Nigerians, with some supporting her stance on Kanu, while others have criticised her position, describing it as a political strategy as she prepares to contest the Abia State governorship election in 2027.
