‘Not Every Illness Should Be Treated in Hospital’ – Ghanaian Man Claims Cancer and Kidney Disease Are Spiritual
A Ghanaian man has sparked debate after claiming that not all illnesses should be treated in hospitals, arguing that some medical conditions have spiritual causes.
Speaking in an interview on Ewiase Mu Nsem, the man, identified as Nana Tano, urged Ghanaians to be cautious about how they approach certain health conditions.
According to him, illnesses such as cancer, kidney disease and some other serious ailments are often spiritual in nature and should not be treated solely through conventional medicine.
Nana Tano claimed that in the past, people who had been cursed would display obvious physical signs, such as swollen stomachs, making it easy for others to recognize that they were under a spiritual affliction.
He alleged that times have changed, and instead of such visible signs, those believed to be under a curse now develop serious illnesses.
The man further claimed that spiritual forces or gods are displeased when individuals seek only hospital treatment for ailments he believes have spiritual origins.
He advised that, in some cases, people battling certain illnesses should consider seeking spiritual help alongside other forms of support.
His comments have generated mixed reactions on social media, with some agreeing with his spiritual perspective, while others stressed the importance of seeking evidence-based medical care for serious health conditions.
