The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has released the deployment list for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II for Niger and Sokoto States.
The NYSC made this announcement in a statement posted on its verified X handle on Sunday.
According to the statement, prospective corps members posted to Niger and Sokoto States can now print their call-up letters.
“2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Deployment has been released for Niger and Sokoto States.
“Prospective corps members posted to these states have been enabled to print their Call-Up Letters,” he said.
This came after the NYSC extended the commencement date of the orientation course in the two states due to ongoing renovation works at the orientation camps.
The scheme, after the extension, announced that the orientation course for the states would commence on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
It added that the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 14, while the closing ceremony is fixed for Tuesday, September 1.
The NYSC revealed that the extension is due to ongoing renovation works at the orientation camps by the respective state governments.
The corps equally urged prospective corps members posted to the two states to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid travelling at night.
