Apostle Joshua Aghasedo sparked debate after sharing his perspective on adult toys within marriage, arguing such items can be viewed as equipment to assist married couples.
He compared adult toys to everyday devices like cars and phones, questioning whether using such items could inherently be sinful.
Aghasedo stated he had never personally used one but described it as “equipment” that could assist married couples in their intimate relations.
He disclosed he had previously suggested such an item to a married couple after considering their circumstances, aiming to help prevent infidelity.
He stressed his comments were strictly within the context of marriage, emphasizing adult toys are only appropriate for married couples.
Using such items outside marriage constitutes masturbation, which he equated with fornication according to his religious interpretation.
He reiterated his position applied specifically to the marital context.
