Nigerian streamer and content creator Peller has expressed frustration over the conduct of his parents during his recent white wedding, revealing that both attended the ceremony with their respective partners.
The TikTok star, who recently tied the knot with fellow content creator Jarvis, popularly known as Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, opened up about the incident in a video shared on Wednesday.
According to Peller, his parents are separated and attended the wedding alongside their partners. While he expected the ceremony to remain relatively private and controlled, he claimed that his parents brought their respective partners despite his earlier request that only a few people should be invited.
Expressing his frustration, Peller said he had specifically warned his parents against turning the wedding into a large gathering.
“I’m tired, I’m tired of all these things. I changed it for them oo, no be small,” he said.
The streamer explained that he had asked his parents to keep their invitations limited because he wanted the wedding to maintain a certain level of intimacy.
“Because I told them to invite just a few people, but my mummy dey carry her own boyfriend come, my daddy carry his own girlfriend come,” he added.
Peller further complained that the presence of the different partners contributed to making the ceremony feel more like a party than the intimate wedding he had envisioned.
“All of them just turned my wedding to party,” he said.
He concluded by reflecting on his family background, saying: “Polygamy is very hard, I’m from a polygamous family.”
