Peller’s Mum Sparks Reactions After Asking Son For Money For Her ‘Lover’, Daddy Freeze Reacts

- Peller, a popular Nigerian TikTok personality, is in the news due to an incident involving his mother.
- Allegations suggest that Peller’s mother requested him to give money to her partner during his wedding reception.
- The incident took place at Peller’s extravagant wedding celebration in Lagos.
The mother of popular Nigerian TikTok personality Peller has become a topic of discussion online following an allegation that she asked her son to give money to her partner during his wedding reception.
The incident reportedly happened at Peller’s lavish wedding celebration in Lagos and has since triggered mixed reactions among social media users, with some questioning whether the request was appropriate.
Media personality Daddy Freeze, however, has come to the defence of Peller’s mother, arguing that there was nothing wrong with the TikToker giving money to the man she intends to marry.
During the wedding reception, Peller was seen bringing out a box containing bundles of dollar bills, which he proceeded to distribute among members of his family.
The TikToker reportedly began by presenting cash gifts to his in-laws before moving on to his own parents.
However, according to an X user who shared his observation of the moment, Peller’s mother allegedly called his attention to a man identified as Oji as he was about to leave after giving money to his parents.
The social media user claimed that Peller’s mother quietly asked her son to give Oji some money as well, describing Oji as her partner who was seated at the same table during the celebration.
The X user expressed displeasure over the alleged request and raised concerns about the level of restraint that should be exercised when it comes to a child’s money.
He wrote:
“Peller’s mum did something at his wedding that I honestly didn’t like, and I pray for protection and more wisdom for that boy.
“After Peller had given his mum and his parents-in-law money, he went back to the box to pick money to give his dad. While he was doing that, his mum was whispering to him, ‘Fun Oji na, fun Oji na,’ meaning, ‘Give Oji too.’
“Now, who is Oji? Oji is her new husband-to-be, and he was sitting right there at the same table with them.
“Peller had to go back to the box again to take some cash for him.
“I don’t know, but something about that didn’t sit right with me. There should be a level of restraint, especially when it comes to your child’s money. May God protect Peller and give that boy more wisdom and understanding.”
Reacting to the criticism, Daddy Freeze disagreed with the X user’s position, maintaining that Peller was simply showing respect to his mother by extending the gesture to her partner.
According to him, a man who is dating or preparing to marry one’s mother should be regarded as a stepfather, making it reasonable for Peller to honour him during the occasion.
Daddy Freeze wrote:
“PELLER did the right thing. Person wey dey date or wan marry ur mama na ur step papa.
“He honored his mother. Flip the tables. If it was the step dad that was rich and he gave PELLER money, would uu complain? En WOMANBEING?”
His reaction has since added another layer to the online debate, with social media users expressing different opinions about Peller’s mother’s alleged request and whether the TikToker was right to give money to her partner.
