Peter Okoye says late mother accepted Lola before their marriage

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has revealed that his late mother eventually accepted his wife, Lola, after initially opposing their relationship.
Speaking in a recent video, Peter said his mother later understood his pain and offered to speak to his brothers, asking them to apologise to him over the family dispute.
According to him, some of his brothers honoured their mother’s request and apologised, while others did not.
Peter also disclosed that his mother had embraced Lola long before they got married, saying she referred to her as “our wife.”
He further alleged that a false narrative was created suggesting his mother never had a relationship with Lola, insisting that they had reconciled well before the wedding.
“My mom felt my pain and said that she would talk to my brothers to ask them to apologize to me.”
According to Peter, some family members apologized while others did not, despite their mother’s request.
“The first son and Henry apologized, except P@úl and Júd£”
He also revealed that his mum accepted Lola long before they got married.
According to Peter: “Before I got married to my wife, my mom was already addressing Lola as ‘OUR WIFE.’”
