“Please, Nigerians, Help Me”- 16 Corps Members Reportedly Kidnapped in Kogi as Family Member Appeals for Help

• A Nigerian woman has appealed for help after alleging that her NYSC-member sister was kidnapped alongside other corps members in Ofu LGA, Kogi State.
• The reported abduction followed an attack on a vehicle along the Aloma-Egane Expressway, with some passengers escaping and one reportedly sustaining a g√nshot wound.

A Nigerian woman has cried out for help after alleging that her sister, an NYSC member, was kidnapped alongside other corps members in Kogi State.

“Please, Nigerians, help me. My sister, who is an NYSC member, was kidn@pped alongside other corps members.”

The appeal followed reports that suspected kidnappers attacked a vehicle along the Aloma-Egane Expressway in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Some passengers reportedly escaped during the attack, while several others were abducted. One of those who reportedly escaped was said to have sustained a g√nshot wound.

Unconfirmed reports circulating online claim that as many as 16 corps members were kidnapped around 5pm on Wednesday.

The development has triggered concern among Nigerians, with many questioning the safety of corps members posted to areas affected by insecurity.
