The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027 has congratulated Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari on his appointment as director -general of the Presidential Campaign Council for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as a boost to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
The group said Yari’s political experience, organisational capacity and extensive network would strengthen the campaign and enhance the party’s prospects at the grassroots.
In a statement signed by its national coordinator, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, made available to journalists in Kaduna on Saturday, the movement also congratulated other members of the campaign council and urged them to commence work immediately.
It said the council must prioritise grassroots mobilisation, strengthen party structures and effectively communicate the achievements of the Tinubu administration to Nigerians.
The group expressed the confidence that Yari would deploy his political experience and network towards delivering victory for Tinubu and the APC in 2027.
“We congratulate Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari on his appointment as director-general of the Presidential Campaign Council.
“He is a devoted member of the APC family and a politician with the experience, network and capacity required for this important assignment,” Asuku said.
The movement pledged its support for the council, saying its structures across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)were ready to work with it.
It said its zonal and state coordinators, as well as ward-level mobilisers, would be deployed to support the campaign and mobilise voters for President Tinubu and other APC candidates.
The group also urged APC stakeholders and supporters to close ranks, stressing that unity, coordination and effective grassroots mobilisation would be critical to the party’s success in the 2027 elections.
