Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has responded to reports claiming that she denied publicly calling out actress Judy Austin.
The controversy followed an allegation by legal practitioner Emeka Ugwuonye that Rita, in a court filing before the Abuja court, denied making any social media posts targeting Judy Austin.
Reacting to the allegation on social media, Rita dismissed the claim, describing it as false and accusing those behind it of spreading misinformation about her.
The veteran actress also questioned the basis of Judy Austin’s position, asking whether she did not allegedly snatch another woman’s husband, have children with him, and stay with him in hotels, among other things.
Rita further advised Judy to remain calm and wait until their scheduled court hearing, where the matter can be addressed.
